Berthelot - Fly-in Moose Hunting

The season generally runs 2 weeks in mid October. Two types of trips are offered.

OUTPOST CAMPS: We'll fly you into a large remote lake where you'll find and abundant amount of lake shore, marshes and smaller back lakes, to hunt. Because of the larger size of these lakes often 10 to 30 miles long, we supply 14' boats & 15hp. motors and all mixed gas so as to navigate these areas. The package is for a minimum of 4 persons. Camps are equipped with bed and mattress, propane lights, stove and refrigerator, wood stove for heating, cooking and eating utensils.

Package includes: Round trip air fare, with 100lb baggage per person, Cabin 14'boat, 15hp motor and unlimited mixed gas. We also fly out the game at no extra charge. There are 2 mid week checks for your security.

HUNTING CAMPS: These are located on the smaller back lakes. These offer excellent moose hunting because of the undisturbed nature of the area through out the year. The camps are equipped with bed and mattress, wood stove for heating propane lights and burners, cooking and eating utensils. For better hunting success on the smaller lakes we use paddle canoes. On the smaller lakes during our camp checks, we only fly over and check for the "flag" (if you need assistance) then we land. The hunting camps on the rivers offer boats and motors. These location are for groups of 2 to 4 persons, weight limits are the same as above, as is free fly out of game.

Hunting camp package: Canadian or US funds $1,000.00 per persons

Outpost package: Canadian or US funds $1,000.00 per persons (if odd number of persons in party there will be 3 in a boat).

Options: Additional at the outpost: boat, motor and gas for odd number of persons Canadian or US funds $275.00

Deposit required $400.00 per person / Non-refundable

All prices plus taxes

Note: Extra baggage to be flown in will be at the rate of $280.00 Canadian or US funds Per load, be it 50lbs or 500lbs. (Please keep in mind that if the over load items are not something to be consumed during the stay, that there may be an additional charge for an extra load on your return).

Things to bring: Life vest, sleeping bag, food, personal items, hunting gear (For an added pleasure bring your fishing gear).
